Moonlight Is Canceled and CBS Sucks!

For vampire fiction fans it's big bad news: Moonlight was canceled a week ago. Of course, there is a drive to get it picked up on another network and I desperately hope that this works but you never really know with these things. Usually, once a show is canceled, that's it. I still have some hope. I'm emailing USA and Scifi Channel regularly.

Sometimes you wonder when a show gets transfered to another network how the changes will affect it or even if it will be the same show. As far as I see it, as long as Moonlight retains Mick, Beth and Joseph characters and there's still that sexy spark between Beth and Mick, I'm happy. If they want to make it more police procedural-like or more profiler-like, fine, I'll take it, as long as the heart of the show is there. Like I said on my Regular Jill blog the creators should be able to retain control of the heart of their show. After all, their creation is what we fans love about the show and as long as the essence is there the show can survive tweaks. I'll take what I can get, as long as the show isn't "revamped" so to speak. One thing is for sure - CBS is blocked at my house. I hate CBS.
